We are proud to announce that Karsten Fischer has joined us as an advisor for certification, configuration control, process and quality management. He is focusing on an effective and efficient implementation of our future EASA Part 21 DOA and POA.
Karsten has more than 20 years of aerospace industry experience in conception, implementation and operation of European Part 21 Design Organisations and also Part 21 Production Organisations.
His Part 21 DO and PO regulatory and practical expertise began with studying aircraft engineering until 1992, followed by working for Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. in the R&D structural engineering department, dealing mainly with PC-12 loads, fatigue and project management of structural test before taking over the function Head of Configuration Management. In 1999 Karsten was the first member of the Office of Airworthiness team to implement the Pilatus initial JAA JAR-21 DOA.
Since 2000 Karsten acts as Co-Founder and Partner of ddpConcepts GmbH which offers comprehensive products/tools, consulting/support training and auditing focused on EASA Part 21 Design Organisations, EASA Part 21 Production Organisations and their suppliers/subcontractors. His DO expertise includes the aircraft manufacturer type-certification process and changes by TC-holder, and also other approvals including STC and ETSO.
