Zurich, March 12, 2025: At Dufour Aerospace, we’re always evolving to stay ahead in the world of innovative aviation. We're excited to announce some exciting staff rotations that will help us continue to grow and push the boundaries of air mobility. A very experienced personality joins Dufour Aerospace, and a proven member of our team takes on a new role, bringing their unique expertise to take Dufour to the next level.

Welcome Christophe Colucci — Our New Lead Systems Engineer

We’re excited to welcome Christophe Colucci to Dufour Aerospace as our new Lead Systems Engineer. With over 25 years of experience in aerospace, defence, and telecom industries, Christophe brings a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise to the team. Throughout his career he has contributed to the development of mission-critical computers, flight control computers and Ground Stations for Airbus Defense & Space aircraft, uncrewed aerial vehicles, or cutting-edge systems for Airbus Helicopters.

Christophe’s extensive experience in developing safety-critical systems to the highest certification levels (DAL A), along with his leadership in managing complex engineering teams, will be key as we scale up and refine our systems. He’ll be helping lead our Systems team and drive our aircraft development to the next level.

“I’m energized by the startup environment and working with such a talented team to create innovative solutions for the future of aircraft and transportation,” said Christophe. “The vision at Dufour — to develop a Green Hybrid-Tilt wing solution for critical missions like organ transportation — is something I’m excited to be a part of.”

Congratulations Timon Wehmann — Transitioning to Product Manager

We’re equally excited to share that Timon Wehmann, who has been leading our Systems team, is transitioning into a new role as Product Manager. Timon has made an incredible impact as Lead Systems Engineer, and now he’ll be focusing on bringing our products closer to our customers. In this new role, Timon will play a big part in ensuring our products continue to evolve and meet the needs of those who rely on them.

Timon has been instrumental in the development and integration of our flight control system onto Dufour’s aircraft, and his work on the tilt-wing concept — particularly with AeroMini, a fully functional scale model of Aero2 — has helped fast-track hardware and software development. His hands-on experience with these systems positions him perfectly to lead product evolution and innovation.

“I’m looking forward to leveraging my engineering experience while working more closely with our customers and business teams to drive product innovation,” said Timon. “I’m excited to continue working alongside such a talented group to shape the future of aviation.”

Looking Ahead

With Christophe’s wealth of experience and Timon’s new focus, we’re more excited than ever to keep moving forward. Together, they’ll play a key role in continuing Dufour’s mission to develop innovative and sustainable aircraft solutions. Their expertise with our passionate and talented team, is the perfect mix to propel us to the next big phase in aviation.
